An old customer asked me about a model I sold him years ago from a private collection with the base plate logo AP and signed but his signature was difficult to decipher. It is a Ferrari 312T based on a Tameo superkit. I recall AP stood for Alberto Peretto however I know nothing more about him. Can anyone provide some history about Alberto, is he still building? It was done to a very high standard.

I have not heard of him for many years, now, Mike. If the plaque has "AP | Hand Built", with the 'AP' joined together, then that was/is Alberto Peretto, to the best of my knowledge.

I wonder if Vincenzo Bosica might know?
