Beautiful build on this Bosica kit. Very clean & nicely detailed.
I got a chance to build one a few years ago & it is an amazing kit. |

Very nice work Jerry...I have seen the window oversight from a world renowned builder. It Fifa 13 Ultimate Team Forums happens and doesn't take away from the work you have done here. BRAVO! |

Thanks Joe...I will copy the 1/24th Porsche 356 Pan Am sheet with a few corrections and have them printed by Cartograf in 1/43rd hopefully in January.
I just sent finally the Alfa Romeo Pan Am 1954 and Mille Miglia sheet for the Quattroruote 1/24th models(very nice 1900TI diecast)and a few other Alfa's from the Quattroruote series. They should be back soon.
Also thanks to Dark Star for the comments. I know we did make that mistake and did not notice until they came back. They don't have spell check for decal artwork :)

Did you use the Bosica hinges? I have on the 356 kit and they work just fine.

Indeed, I used the original hinges of the Bosica kit.
They are magnificent, but must be handled carefully because they can be folded easily.
I think this Superkit,who by the way dates from 1983 is the best I've ever had in my hands.

I am not an expert on the Porsche 356, I'm just a lover of good models in 1 / 43, and the truth, I have learned many things today with your comments.
By the way, I have seen the decals in 1 / 24 scale, and are great
but have a bug to be corrected, at # 162.
Where it says, ASCOCIACION Should be put, ASOCIACION.

I would be interested in purchasing some decals to go with my Bosica kit. I am trying to get some decals made from a scan of the originals for a different kit as well. Another forum member is trying to help me, but he is in Germany and I would love to find some additional options. I dont think Mike would have a problem with this concept, but I defer to him always if he does. |

Thanks for the links. The Canada sponsored cars ran in 1951 and 1952 with a Hudson Hornet, then in 1953 as a blue metalic 356 pre A and finally as a 550 in 1954. One thing we found researching was that the 550 was goldish colored not silver. Here is a link I try to update over at Ferrarichat on the original 1950-1954 Pan am race. Photos of all the above cars are in the thread.

1953 split window. Car had no bumpers and BBR got some of the decals wrong [unless there was a later 153 car]. I have seen too many variations/interpretations of this car. Note that it also has vent windows.
