Did you cut open the trunk lid? Mine doesn't open.

I also have this Dino in 1/14th, my trunk lid is not removable either.The engine cover opens but not the luggage compartment lid behind that.

i think it normally does not open, i can see glue were the trunk should be. i have bought this like this without the display or the wooden plate. it comes out of the collection of Jaques Swaters.
maybe you can try to remove it , it is old glue and maybe it is easy to do but if i had a 100% mint model i would not do this because the risk is Always there that you damage the paint
