A little fun project I did for a local gruipbuild. The onyl rule was the model has to fit on a "beermat" so it all looks alittle cramped. But I think the model turned out nicely. I used the Tameo kit with some added details and modifications. The figure are two denizen figures modified and turned into a Lauda :-)



The amazing chassis was made from PE parts...very impressive kit.



The nice machined wheels. Logos have been sprayed on.



I made a new distributer to make it possible to wire the whole thing.



A new "brakepump" for the front.



I made a drilling template on the computer to simulate Laudas vented seat.



I added tubes to make some parts a little more three dimensional.



I castet all transparent parts in clear resin. And it was harder than I thought





But the result was well worth all the tries.

Some shots of the painting. I used the first decalsheet to mask the white parts.



This it how it looks after painting. Now I need to apply the second layer of decals for a perfect finish.
