One must make an effort...otherwise what is the point of having all of that detail and not be able to see it?

I agree, but since there is, or should be so much delicate detail in the engine bay, which could be compromised, I'd prefer to have a separate engine displayed next to the model on a stand. Nonetheless, my hat's off to you for taking on the challenge with this one!

I think MFH should have produced the kit without the working engine parts, and then offered/produced a separate fully detailed engine kit with all of those parts. But that's just my opinion.

I totally agree...BUT they need to re-think the materials. The white metal as moving parts is problematic.

The first two of this model are now sold. I will be happy to add to the list but will need to know soon otherwise the kits may sell out.

I am happy to announce at this time that I will also have the 1962 250GTO available. I am taking orders for the Le Mans #19 and Graham Hill #11 versions. These will start in February.

The engine and chassis details start to come together. We have decided to display an engine along side the model so this motor will be all one piece.







The front steering assembly is screwed together and ready for paint and then final installation.

I like the surface rust on the hubs - a really nice touch.
