My belgian and dutch friends kept bragging about the wonderful projects on this forum, so I finally decided to show some of my work.

Because I don't have a lot of spare time and my projects involve many modifications, they take years to complete.

I started this project in april 2013. The goal is to modify a couple of Bburago F40's into LM's, roadcars with LM or race specs, and a GT.

Pictures will follow in my next posts.

For some reason, my pictures (I added only 1 pic in my first post) are not visible.

Can someone help me along please ?

I've used the "insert image" button and put http://modelbrouwers.nl/media/albums/241/8299/06082013%20(1).jpg between the

Hi Pascal and welcome aboard!

You actually did everything correctly for displaying images, but the file name of the picture you are trying to show us has brackets at the end: (1).jpg - which seems to break the link. I do not know why this happens, sorry.
Perhaps if you rename the file (just by removing the brackets), and try again, you may have better luck.

I guess the reason for the link not working is caused by the fact that the HTML is set on OFF (visible on the left side of text screen, under Message: )

All my pictures are uploaded on a modelling forum (Modelbrouwers.nl), sofar I haven't had any problems copying / pasting the links to other fora.

Thanks John,

I've uploaded some of my "work in progress" pictures to photobucket.

The front end of the Bburago F40 chassis is a very poor representation of the real thing :

I've cut off all the metal that's in front of the cockpit and started rebuilding the frame using brass rods :

A copper plate was fixed with solder and some details were added :

Futher detailing was done with brass and styrene :

This is the result sofar :

Sincerely

Pascal

Your work is amazing. I really enjoy watching people detailing Bburago models. For me,it is the best way to learn and exercise your techniques, since you will not have a huge loss and you are going to enjoy it without worrying about :)
