Trick-photography. It is a real Lotus made to look like it is sitting on a leather base...

Wow! That is beautiful! Always impressed by Laurents work, and I have always been a big Lotus fan. Really great model - love the spring clips on the exhaust. Some details that you just cant mimic in a smaller scale. Enjoy

What an absolutely beautiful model. Really superb workmanship. That's one that I would love to have in my own collection and I don't even collect F-1 models.

Soon in this forum the Lotus 49 1970 driven by Emerson Fittipaldi in the English GP, also build by Laurent Tay and also an MFH kit.

It is amazing what a master modeler can do. Thank you so much for posting your wonderful pictures Dreis, especially the close ups.
The rivets, shift mechanism, and exhaust springs especially grabbed my attention but so do other details which just keep flowing out of the model each time I view.
Looking forward to the Lotus 49.
