Started this one: the Ferrari 500 F2 of Alberto Ascari during the 1952 Championship.
Again I will use the WCT52 superkit from Tameo (300+ parts) as a base and will add more details to it. Of course it will be displayed on a little base too.

The spoke wheels.

White Metal parts get their Metal Etch primer en Grey Primer.

Chassis weathered first stage.

Oil paint treatment on first parts.

Pink primer as a base for the Rosso Corsa 300 from DS Colors.

Next: decals :-)

You must have an incredible collection, Hugo! Do you have all your finished masterpieces on display?

Thanks x.man.

Not really. I try to build my own collection, but models go to private collectors. The few I have are stocked secure and dust-free until I have a decent showcase ;-)

It looks so good like that - it would almost be a shame to cover it up with bodywork :o)

You're absolutely right x.man. It would be a shame to cover up all those details. Only the central body part will be installed, all the others will be put alongside the model ;-)
Thanks,
Hugo

Very nice and clean built! Weathering is so realistic. Thanks for sharing it specially while this forum is really quite nowadays. Please share more photos if you have got other projects as well.

Thank you for your kind words FYI.
Working on a custom built right now. When that is finished I'll return to the Tipo 159 and post in progress pictures again.
Thanks, Hugo
