It dry fits pretty good as well...the kit as a whole will build up nicely with some judicial enhancements.

OK... this nose is the race nose...it is definitely different. Either way neither nose in the kit is correct for the race.





So I assume this would be a photo along with a bunch of others taken during practice...

They used a long nose during practice and a slightly shorter with a squared opening nose in the race. The Hiro "short nose" is to short. If you want to do the race version correctly you would have to square out the opening of the long nose supplied and shorten it slightly.

Still a rather nice kit. The small amount of photo etch in the kit was a surprise.

The illustrations in the kit as well as the instructions indicate the wrong nose for the 67 Monaco race. Bandini's had a long nose and the long nose in the kit is correct for his car

Looks like a great kit. I just received it last week. The only thing is the Monaco race nose is to short. They do supply bother practice and race noses so you can modify the longer nose to make a race version.
