Hello everyone,

Today I am pleased to present my future project.
The building of the fabulous Porsche 962C, who participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1985.

After reviewing the MFH kit, it seems that the building will be as exciting ... than difficult!

Soon for the first pictures of WIP, but be patient, I'm a very very slow builder!

What is so difficult? If you think this is difficult wait until you see the 917 Martini ;)

And watch those join lines. Great care must be taken to make sure the panels will fit after paint. The tolerances are very tight.

Hello Peter,
At the moment there is nothing difficult. The construction of the model is not more advanced than the pictures. In fact the result I would like to do, I know it will not be easy ... But it is not certain that I will get the Result I want!

For adjustments of the bodywork yes I know I have to be careful.

And for those interested here are some pictures I took during my visits to the circuit of Francorchamps.

Hello everyone,
Sorry for not giving news on the assembly of this 962.
I'm not dead, is that now I'm busy on building LaFerrari for Tamiya magazine. After that, I still building a March Ford 761, then this 962 and Aston Martin, etc.

Hello everyone,

I completed the building of LaFerrari. As soon as I finish writing the article for the Tamiya Magazine, I come to you to continue the building of the Porsche 962 and Aston Martin DBS Ultimate Edition. In the meantime here is one picture of LaFerrari.

Thank you for your patience.
Fabrice

Oh, wow! Beautiful!

I am liking that color combination!

Is this from a BBR kit?

Thank you,
I'm glad you like my model.
Sorry, I forgot to mention that it is a model 1/24 from Tamiya. This is their newest. This is a very nice kit, with engine, chassis and interior detailed. This is a model where it is possible to open and close doors and engine cover.

The body is painted in pure red TS-86 and black TS-14 (Tamiya spray paint). But the paint is output of the sprays and applied with an airbrush. Several coats of varnish 2 components are then applied.
